Mr. H.A. Mahmud is a people-focused HR professional with over 20 years of experience helping organizations hire better, perform better, and grow stronger through effective HR strategies. He currently serves as an Assistant Registrar (HR) at Southeast University, where he has been leading HR operations since October 2020.

He holds a CHRP from AFMA (Australia), an MBA in Marketing, a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management (PGDHRM), a Diploma in Human Rights and Legal Aid (DHRLA), and a Master’s (Prel.) in English. He has also received professional training from respected institutions, including IBA, NAPD, BASIS, BARD, PIB, and BSCIC.

He is passionate about building fair, transparent, and growth-oriented HR systems — particularly in recruitment, performance evaluation, policy implementation, and employee development. His work is driven by the belief that HR should support people just as strongly as it supports organizational goals.

His career has taken him to learning and networking programs in Singapore, Malaysia, and Canada, where he strengthened his global perspectives and professional connections.

Outside of his professional role, he remains active in several social and professional organizations, including TIB, SHUJAN, BDRCS, NAPDAA, BFNS, BIPS, IPM, BSTD, CAB, and FBHRO. He also holds leadership positions in the Executive Councils of these organizations. He is a Life Fellow of the Institute of Personnel Management, Bangladesh.

He enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring new cultures — always guided by the belief that learning never stops and neither should we.
